Name: Eucalyptus Globulas
Source/Origin: South Eastern Australia, mainly Victoria and Tasmania.
Appearance: Yellowish to pale brown, often with pink tinges.
Common uses: Originally planted as woodchip timber, older Southern Blue Gums are now being used for furniture and flooring.
Janka Hardness: 9.5
Durability: Southern Blue Gum is a reasonably durable specie and combined with its strength, it makes for a very good Structural Timber, Flooring
