Name: Eucalyptus Pilularis
Source/Origin: A large heartwood growing in the abundance in the costal forests between Bega, New South Wales and Maryborough, Queensland.
Appearance: A pale brown to sometimes having a slight pinkish tinge.
Common uses: Australian Beech is best used for fencing, landscaping and retaining wall construction. Its high tannin content makes Australian Beech less desirable for furniture because its colour can leech in to fabric if not treated correctly.
