Grey Ironbark

(also known as white ironbark, narrow-leaved ironbark)

Name: Eucalyptus drepanophylla, E. paniculata

Source/Origin: Victoria through to QLD.

Appearance: The timber ranges in colour from light grey-browns through to dark chocolates and reds.

Common uses: Both in and above ground. It is used in heavy Engineering Construction, Poles, Piles, Decking, Flooring and Shipbuilding. Difficulty to work prevents it being used to its full potential.
